Orchestra in Residence

Tru’ Time Orchestra is the Orchestra-in-Residence at Allendale. As it’s Orchestra in residence, Allendale UMC is “home” to Tru’ Time Orchestra, providing logistical resources, rehearsal/performance space, and encouragement of their mission. The partnership between Allendale and Tru’ Time Orchestra is one that mutually nurtures one another as their active demonstration of radical and intentional inclusion mirrors and supports each other’s growth toward justice.

Tru’ Time Orchestra seeks to shift standard orchestral programming by performing the works of 20th and 21st century underrepresented (Female, Black, Latinx, POC, LGBTQ+ ) composers.
