How we will live, serve, and love together:

  1. Value, respect, and honor each other through prayer, cooperation, encouragement, and trust
  2. Recognize each other as image-bearers of God by emulating patience and love, and presuming the best motives
  3. Listen and communicate openly while valuing others’ opinions and stories
  4. Strive for self-awareness and be accountable to one another
  5. Respect and honor each other’s work and personal time; and fulfill our commitments
  6. Value, support, and respect each person’s unique gifts, ministries, and faith journeys
  7. Pray for and assist our church leaders while valuing their contributions
  8. Pray for each other
  9. Maintain transparency while upholding confidentiality to promote mutual trust
  10. Approach relationships with thanksgiving and gratitude

How we will be accountable for our differences:

  1. Pray for God’s guidance
  2. Actively listen to each other to be sure all are heard
  3. Be honest, open, and empathetic to others’ thoughts, ideas, and feelings
  4. Amplify diverse voices within our community
  5. Speak in a timely manner directly and kindly to one another
  6. Take responsibility for our actions
  7. Seek and offer forgiveness
  8. In the event of a conflict that isn’t resolved by one of the forgoing, the parties should seek the counsel of a mutually trusted person
